Singing is in her DNA. By the time she was a young woman, Sybil wanted to find her own voice and set out on her own. Her first break was a gig with none other than the legendary group, the Platters.
After Stevie, she migrated to New York where she started writing and singing, and soon became one of the regular singers in the middle of the New York Music scene. She was only managed to take the song to No. The title track served as the lead single but only reached No. The album sank without trace. Since then Sybil has mostly recorded as a guest artist. She now mainly teaches songwriting and creative writing for college students, but occasionally makes the odd live performance.
