If your iPod is suffering from battery life issues iStore can diagnose the issue. If we confirm a failed or consumed battery we can get your device replaced for the discounted exchange replacement fee. Before bringing in your iPod to be serviced please ensure you have done all appropriate backups of your data.
In some situations iStore can provide data backup and restore during the troubleshooting stage, however this is not covered by Apple Warranty and will incur a service charge.
Unfortunately iStore is unable to perform data recovery on iOS devices. All music will be lost when a device is serviced. It can be synced back to your iPod via iTunes or Apple Music. Before we can service iPod touch, Apple require us to turn off the security feature known as 'Find my iPod'. This can be turned off via the iPod's iCloud settings. Before we book the device in for service our staff will ask you remove 'Find my iPod' with your Apple ID password.
