Indication and Usage. Important Risk Information. Thank you for visiting. I have less depression and also my OCD has gotten much better. I can now be alone without feeling like the world is coming to an end. I have only been on this drug for 3 weeks but the difference is through the roof for me. I havent noticed any side effects accept for the few stomach problems but I am only taking 20mg so I'm hoping to avoid any sexual side effects.

Everybody is affected by medications differently but this drug is definetly worth a try. At fist it makes you nauseous but it's much better if taken on a full stomach and you quickly get used to the medication and then it's fine.

It's causing me to lose weight and I can pretty much just eat whatever i want and not gain anything and if i don't eat a lot i lose more weight. I had more energy and there were NO Sexual side effects. I actually had a big increase in Libido.

I'm not saying that all depression completely goes away You need to feel some sadness to be a real Human being This is my second time taking Viibryd. I recommend it to everyone who asks about a depression drug. The first time I took it I got the first month dose from my dr.

So I had to get off of it after 2 months. This year I hit my deductible in the spring, so I've been on it since June and its been amazing Even the first month side effects of diarrhea are worth it.

It can be bad, but it does get better and pretty much goes away. Again I am being weane. Got the typical starter pack. One week at 10mg - noticeable antidepressant effect, side effects of diarrhea and weird dreams. One week at 20 mg - suddenly had tons of energy. Found myself getting lots of housework done, starting up projects I had been putting off for months, but no true enjoyment of things I loved.

Diarrhea remained, some insomnia started. Diarrhea persisted. Had trouble getting up each morning and felt foggy all day but still had energy to get things done.

NO libido. Not the right drug for me. Probably not good for anyone with IBS already. Just started with the 10, 20, 40 pack. On day 11 I cut the 20mg in half after talking to my doctor. Too many unpleasant side effects. It isn't working for ME. No different than the Prozac I have been taking for years. It seems everything I try doesn't work as well as Prozac as far as the side effects. I am tired all the time on Prozac so I tried lexapro no effect on three stages of doses.

Celexa, welbutrin allergic reaction and now viibryd. The bloating is so bad even if I feel like having sex I am I am too ashamed of what feels like a 5 month along pregnancy belly. I am too stressed over that fact to continue. So I am returning to my Prozac Fluoxetine Walgreens generic version. Not all generics are created equal. Helped both my depression and anxiety. Worked very well. However, I started to become tolerant to it, so I had to take it more often every 12 hours, then every 10 hours I'm up to 5 hours.

Had major side effects if I didn't take it on time--irritability, confusion, etc. Drugs A-Z provides drug information from Everyday Health and our partners, as well as ratings from our members, all in one place.
