Events hosted at other venues like the local bars, the Depot or the Zeitgeist please follow their specific guidelines when you attend those events. While we will not be requiring vaccinations for attending, we acknowledge that getting vaccinated is the most effective method for fighting this virus and encourage everyone who is eligible to get the vaccine. That being said, here are our recommendations for attending our Pride events this year:.
We are encouraging everyone staff and attendees to please wear masks correctly and consistently regardless of vaccination status. We are encouraging everyone to practice physical distancing wherever possible. We will be setting up hand sanitization stations throughout the Bayfront festival grounds. If you show any symptoms please get tested for COVID and notify people who you came into contact with if possible.
But there's lots of masks and lots of social distancing and so it's been awesome great turn out. The main draw to the park though has been the performances. She was one of the many drag acts that took to the stage. Along with the performances, queer friendly businesses and resources had their booths on the park grounds as well. It seems everyone is expressing their love for the gay community giving others that same confidence and love they have for each other.
