They are a very aggressive team. I have seen this in Joust and ranked Joust where the enemy stays near your tower waiting As far as the whole account reset dont think its possible. As said above, you may have been an easy target due to being lower skill, or focused because you seemed higher skilled than your team.

The part about people saying "because you are X", applies to pretty much every god for one reason or another. So if you were using specific gods that would explain it might help if you used less annoying gods and see if it continues.

You could if you really wanted to make a new account just to see if it continues. Rent a couple of gods you normally play, and see if you still get focused as them.
